Welcome in the municipality of Strijen

The municipality of Strijen consists of the small villages Strijen, Strijensas, Cillaarshoek, Mookhoek and De Klem. They are located on the former island Hoeksche Waard in the province of Zuid-Holland.

The municipality of Strijen has approximately 10.000 inhabitants. Strijen covers about 5755 acres, with 597 acres of water.

The City Hall, at Waleplein 2 in Strijen, is the location where you are able to discuss matters and receive information concerning the municipality. The departments are open to the public from Monday through Friday from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm. The Civil Affairs Department also provides her services between 1.30 pm - 4.00 pm.
